On 24 March 2023, Tools4CAP hosted online its first meeting with the Advisory Board to introduce the project in the context of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and highlight the project’s aim of providing decision-makers with suitable tools for a more evidence-based policy design.
In addition, there was a presentation of the work packages as well as a discussion about its role.
The Advisory Board will be consulted at key project stages, in particular, to discuss the inventory of methods and tools, conceptual framework and the Tune-up Evaluation Framework (TEF) (WP1), the identification of innovative tools (WP2 to WP4), the case study selection and planning (WP5). The advisory board will be invited to participate in consortium meetings, and, if they desired, they could participate in working groups (task 3.2) and Tools4CAP Academy workshops (task 6.3).
This expert group is foreseen in WP7 in the task related to project management, governance structure and advisory board. Among the experts on the Advisory Board are: Alan Matthews, Sophie Thoyer, Frank Offermann, Marek Wigier, Fabio Pierangeli and Franz Sinabell.
