Rationale of use

In Cyprus, a series of thematic workshops on agriculture, environment, and rural development helped refine and expand the SWOT analysis.

Functioning

An intensive program of meetings was conducted with all relevant stakeholders, including agricultural organizations, environmental groups, members of the National Rural Network, and various production sectors. Additionally, thematic workshops focused on key areas—agriculture, environment, and rural development—collected valuable information, data, and insights from public sector institutions and broader governmental agencies. This input was crucial for drafting the initial SWOT analysis. Finally, a dedicated workshop brought together NGOs and other economic and social partners to discuss and validate the preliminary findings of the SWOT analysis.

The outputs from these meetings and workshops served as the foundation of the SWOT analysis in Cyprus.
