Focus Working Groups (one for each SO)

Rationale of use

The Spanish National Ministry of Agriculture utilised Focus Working Groups to involve diverse specialists from different areas, who may not be directly related to agricultural policy, in the analysis of the agricultural sector.

Functioning

Consultation to databases and analysis with spreadsheets was undertaken, allowing these diverse specialists to understand and interpret the state of the agricultural sector from the perspective of each CAP SO.

Types of outputs

Comprehensive reports that describe the agricultural sector from each SO's viewpoint, serving as foundational documents for subsequent SWOT analysis and needs identification.
