On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 09:30 to 11:30 AM (CET), Tools4CAP hosted its eighth online Academy module, From evidence to practice: implementers’ voices and real-world lessons. This session was the second 2026 training module of the Tools4CAP Academy and was designed to support Member States in preparing for the next CAP programming period.
Unlike Module VII, which focused on technical and methodological aspects, this session placed greater emphasis on practical application. Through participatory, practice-oriented case studies, participants will explore how decision-support tools and methodological approaches are applied in real policy and implementation contexts.
In this session, we focused on decision-support tools, particularly the IOI Matrix, Intervention Logic, and Prioritisation Tool. Our experts shared insights from case studies in Ireland, Poland, and Germany. We also reflected on the opportunities and conditions for promoting decision-support tools in the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), and how these tools can be effectively designed, delivered and used.
See the agenda here.
The report is also available in BG, CZ, DE, ES, FR, GR, HU, IE, IT, LT, LV, NL, PL, RO, SK and SL.
