The EU CAP Network brokerage event “Innovating for competitive, resilient and sustainable agriculture and rural areas” will take place on 25–26 February 2026 in Warsaw, Poland. The event builds on the success of previous brokerage editions, which have supported the creation of Horizon Europe proposals and strengthened collaboration between research, practice and advisory services across Europe.
The main objective of the 2026 edition is to support the preparation of strong, multi-actor Horizon Europe Cluster 6 project proposals. Participants will have the opportunity to network, present short project ideas, identify partners, and explore cooperation opportunities. The event will also provide information on additional European, national and regional funding schemes that can support innovation in agriculture, forestry and rural areas.
Discussions will focus on key thematic priorities such as agrobiodiversity and sustainable farming practices, circular farming systems, competitive value chains, efficient use of natural resources, resilient cropping systems, innovation through AKIS, and healthy soils. These themes aim to support long-term productivity, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience.
The event will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders, including farmers, rural community representatives, advisors, innovation brokers, researchers, businesses, start-ups, National Contact Points, and funding organisations such as the EIC, EIT and CBE JU.
