Wageningen University and Research (WUR), a Tools4CAP partner, along with the Thünen Institute (THÜNEN), is organising the next edition of the AGMEMOD training course. This event is scheduled to take place from June 17 to June 20, 2025, at the WUR premises located in The Hague.
The aim of the training course is to assist AGMEMOD ‘modellers-to-be’ in the process of getting acquaintance with the model. This workshop is also a good opportunity to promote the interaction and the exchange of knowledge/experience within the members of the AGMEMOD consortium. This 4-day training course will address the following topics:
- Type of research and policy questions for which the model can be used.
- Data needs and handling.
- Equation sets and model structure.
- Modelling scenarios; including running the model and analysing its outputs.
The course will combine learning by doing/ hands-on sessions, guided by experienced AGMEMOD modellers; with several plenary sessions on the general AGMEMOD framework.
The organisation of this event is financially supported by the European Union’s Horizon Europe projects Tools4CAP, BrightSpace and ACT4CAP27. There is no fee for participating in the training. However, participants have to cover their own travel, accommodation and meals.
